Aurora Borealis, also known as A-B, Aurora B., or simply Aurora, is a Flying Dutchmen strain resulting from a cross between a carefully selected Northern Lights #10 and a sweet Skunk #1 father. A vigorous plant with heavy resinous buds, this strain has the best attributes from both its parents. Aurora Borealis has a sweet and fruity taste with a hashy sharpness. The subtle, calming effects have helped this strain gain popularity in the Netherlands and Canada with its sweet, skunky flavors and earthy undertones.

Which strain is right for me?
Indica plants are typically shorter with wide leaves. The buds of an indica plant will usually be quite dense. Indica based strains are relaxing and calming. Although indica’s are associated with body-heavy sensations, they will include powerful psychoactive effects. In particular, Indica strains are ideal for nighttime use.
Sativa plants are typically taller with long thin leaves. The bud of a sativa plant is typically less dense and somewhat feathery. Sativa’s usually come with a cerebral high feeling. Users should additionally expect physical sensation. Traditionally, sativa strains are uplifting and euphoric, great for daytime use.
Hybrid plants are a cross breed between indica and sativa plants. Very few cannabis strains are a pure indica or pure sativa. Contrarily, most strains of cannabis are a hybrid of the two. Additionally within this subset there are indica dominant and sativa dominant strains. Hybrid plants are an even indica/sativa split and offer a balanced variety of effects.
